AJT Engineering’s comprehensive machine shop capability includes a wide diversity of machine tooling from conventional to full CNC enabling machining requirements to be conducted efficiently and economically using the most appropriate resources.

The Company’s welding capability incorporates automated weld cladding stations incorporating the latest Twin Arc, Rotary Head, GTAW System which eliminates the need for precise setting-up of components on welding turntables when completing weld overlays with requisite Parent Metal, Stainless Steel or Inconel consumables.

AJT Engineering offers, in conjunction with a CNC controlled multi-head plate profiling station, a fabrication service with the flexibility to respond to the urgent requirements of both oil and non-oil related Clients.

Considerable experience gained over the preceding four decades in servicing the North Sea and the global oil and gas sector has enabled AJT Engineering’s Mechanical Fitting section to provide an unrivalled service in the assembly, disassembly, repair, refurbishment and pressure testing of a wide range of onshore and offshore oil exploration and production equipment.

Cold Extrusion operations utilise a unique 2,000 tonne capacity, hydraulic cold forming press specifically designed and manufactured for the production of integrally extruded outlets in headers, vessels, manifolds and related products for applications in the oil, gas, petrochemical, nuclear and other industries.
